Last updated: March 11, 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TouchRemote mobile application, website, TouchRemote COMP, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

TouchRemote is a service operated under the iGALabs brand by Igor Ozhiganov.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

TouchRemote is a mobile application designed to enable remote interaction with TouchDesigner environments.

The Service operates through a proprietary TouchDesigner component known as TouchRemote COMP and may include functionality such as:

  • Remote panel interaction.
  • Touch-style control input.
  • Real-time video reception and transmission.
  • Transmission of device sensor data.
  • Account-based licensing and paid feature access.

TouchRemote is designed to operate specifically with the TouchDesigner environment using TouchRemote COMP.

TouchRemote is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Derivative Inc., the creators of TouchDesigner.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential.
  • Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • Use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

We may require email verification for certain account actions. Password reset functionality may be made available through the Service.

4. Licenses and Ownership

4.1 License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purposes.

4.2 Ownership

The Service, including the application, backend systems, website content, and TouchRemote COMP, is owned by or licensed to Igor Ozhiganov and operated under the iGALabs brand.

Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.

4.3 TouchRemote COMP

TouchRemote COMP is provided free of charge, but it remains proprietary software.

You may use it only as permitted by these Terms and for its intended integration with TouchRemote.

5. Free and Paid Features

The Service may offer both free and paid functionality.

The free version may include limitations such as:

  • Reduced video streaming resolution.
  • Reduced frame rate.
  • Reduced camera broadcasting quality.
  • Limited sensor transmission frequency.
  • Restricted advanced functionality.
  • Unavailable panel autolaunch.
  • Unavailable panel exit password protection.

Paid plans may unlock additional features, higher limits, or broader usage allowances.

We may change, add, remove, reclassify, or adjust features, limits, plans, or entitlements at any time.

6. Device Seats and Plan Limits

Certain subscriptions or lifetime purchases include a limited number of device seats.

A seat generally corresponds to a specific application installation identified by an InstallID.

You may not exceed the seat limit associated with your plan.

Where a plan is intended for studios, teams, or companies, the account may be used by the account owner and their authorized team members within the limits of the purchased plan.

7. Payments, Subscriptions, and Purchases

Paid features may be offered through:

  • Apple In-App Purchases.
  • Google Play Billing.

RevenueCat may be used to manage entitlements, subscription status, and purchase synchronization across platforms.

Apple and Google process payments under their own terms and policies. Refunds, billing issues, renewals, cancellations, and trial handling may also be subject to their rules and platform-specific policies.

We do not guarantee the availability of any particular pricing model, subscription plan, trial, or lifetime offering.

8. Commercial Use

The Service may be used for both personal and commercial purposes.

Commercial installations, studios, production teams, and professional environments may use the Service, including paid plans, subject to applicable feature limits and seat restrictions.
